1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GoReal website, applications, and related services (together, the "Services"), operated by GoReal, a California real estate brokerage (CA DRE #01990429). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Description of service

GoReal provides home-search tools for the San Francisco Bay Area and offers flat-fee buyer representation to clients who choose to work with us. Information on this website — including listings, prices, availability, and market data — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer to sell, or the solicitation of an offer to buy, any property. Buyer representation is established only through a separate written agreement between you and GoReal.

3. MLS data disclaimer

Listing data displayed on the Services is provided by MLSListings and other sources. This information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed. Listing details — including price, status, availability, square footage, lot size, and other attributes — are subject to change or withdrawal at any time without notice. You should independently verify any information that is important to your purchase decision, including through inspections, appraisals, and review of public records, before relying on it.

4. No professional advice

Content on the Services, including articles, guides, estimates, and calculators, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. You should consult qualified professionals — such as an attorney, accountant, or financial advisor — regarding your specific circumstances before making decisions.

5. User accounts and acceptable use

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Scrape, harvest, copy, or redistribute listing data or other content, whether manually or by automated means;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or accounts;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity; or
• Use the Services to send spam or other unsolicited communications.

6. Intellectual property

The Services and their content — including text, graphics, logos, software, and design — are owned by GoReal or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Listing content remains the property of its respective owners, including MLSListings and listing brokers. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial home search.

7. Third-party links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as lenders, inspectors, or mapping providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. A link does not imply endorsement.

8. Limitation of liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoReal and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits or lost opportunities — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that could harm GoReal or others. You may stop using the Services at any time and may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice, such as by email or a notice on the site. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
